PPCIC celebrates the first master thesis defense

On June 4, 2018, we had the first defense of Master’s thesis of the Graduate program in Computer Science of CEFET/RJ. The student Rafael Guimarães Rodrigues defended the work titled Analysis of Semantic Aspects in automatic translations of texts. He was guided by Prof. Gustavo Paiva Guedes e Silva. The examining board was formed by Prof. Eduardo Bezerra (CEFET/RJ), Eduardo Ogasawara (CEFET/RJ) and Lilian Ferrari (UFRJ).

During his master’s degree, Rafael Rodrigues had seven articles published and three more in the evaluation process. The duration of his master’s degree was 22 months. “-It is a great start!” says the program coordinator, Prof. Eduardo Ogasawara.
