PROF. Felipe da Rocha Henriques, D.Sc.

Prof. Felipe da Rocha Henriques holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with an Emphasis on Telecommunications from Rio de Janeiro State University - UERJ - (2006), a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Rio de Janeiro State University - UERJ - (2010) and a D.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Rio January - COPPE/UFRJ - (2015). Has experience in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Telecommunications Systems, Signal Processing and Computer Networks. He is currently a Professor at the telecommunications department of CEFET/RJ (Campus Petrópolis). He also works at the Computer Engineering Undergraduate course at the same Campus and at the Master's Program in Computer Science (PPCIC) at Campus Maracanã. In 2019, he participated in the team that coordinated the XXXVII Brazilian Symposium on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (SBrT 2019), in the city of Petrópolis/RJ. He works on the following research areas: energy conservation in Wireless Sensor Networks, Zigbee Networks, Wireless Body Sensor Networks, Sparse Representations and Compressive Sampling, and Adaptive Filtering.
