I have been a Professor of Computer Science at the Federal Center of Technology of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET/RJ) since 2010 and a Professor of Computing Systems Technology at CEDERJ/UFF since 2015. In 2022, I served as a Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in Portugal. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UFF (2013). My research focuses on numerical methods and High-Performance Computing (HPC). More recently, I have developed an interest in machine learning and the Internet of Things (IoT), emphasizing applications in environmental and sustainability contexts. I am a founding member of the Brazilian Society of Robotics (SBR), Regional Secretary of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) in Rio de Janeiro, and an executive member of the Regional Committee on High-Performance Computing in the Southeast (CRAD/SE). Additionally, I am a member of the Brazilian Society of Applied and Computational Mathematics (SBMAC) and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).
