Tipicamente estes ambien\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">tes fornecem uma grande variedade de recursos aos usu\u00e1rios.<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">O dimensionamento adequado dos\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">recursos para a execu\u00e7\u00e3o de<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">workflows<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cient\u00edficos nestes ambientes \u00e9 uma tarefa crucial. Um am<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">biente sub ou superdimensionado pode afetar diretamente o desempenho do experimento, gerando\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">impactos negativos relacionados ao tempo e ao custo financeiro da execu\u00e7\u00e3o. Com isso, pesquisas\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">envolvendo estima\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos para execu\u00e7\u00e3o de experimentos em ambientes de HPC vem sendo\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">realizadas, como a heur\u00edstica<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">GraspCC<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, que usa o procedimento de busca adaptativa randomizada\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">gulosa (GRASP). O objetivo deste trabalho \u00e9 investigar a execu\u00e7\u00e3o de<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">workflows<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cient\u00edficos em\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ambientes de alto desempenho, tais como<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">clusters<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">e nuvens de computadores, com o intuito de\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">estimar eficientemente os recursos necess\u00e1rios considerando o tempo e os custos financeiros asso<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ciados. O problema foi definido a partir da proposta de estrutura\u00e7\u00e3o do<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">workflow<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">em est\u00e1gios ou\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">n\u00edveis paralelos de tarefas semelhantes entre si e que operam de maneira independente, chamada\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Layered-Bucket<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(LB). Para resolver o problema, foram propostas uma formula\u00e7\u00e3o de programa\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">matem\u00e1tica inteira e uma adapta\u00e7\u00e3o da heur\u00edstica<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">GraspCC<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">para considerar a abordagem LB, cha<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">mada<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">GraspCC-LB<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.
